What you can do with PUF

•ICTK's security chip can be operated in PQC (Post Quantum Cryptography), a quantum security algorithm.

(서울=연합뉴스) 채새롬 기자 = LG유플러스는 서울대, 크립토랩, ICTK 드림시큐리티[203650]와 구성한 'LG유플러스 컨소시엄'이 과학기술정보통신부가 주관하고 한국지능정보사회진흥원(NIA)이 발주한 양자암호 관련 과제를 수주했다고 27일 밝혔다.
양자내성암호는 암호키 교환 등 보안의 주요 핵심요소에 적용할 수 있어 확장성이 높고 수백㎞ 이상의 장거리 전송이 가능하며, 별도의 장비 없이 소프트웨어만으로도 구현할 수 있다.
컨소시엄은 이번 과제 수주를 통해 공공, 민간 부문으로 양자암호기술 실증 범위를 확대한다.
충남도청과 공무원교육원 사이 137㎞ 구간에 양자내성암호(PQC) 전용 회선을 구축한다. 컨소시엄은 충남도청 업무에서 생성되는 도민의 민감 정보에 대한 데이터베이스 암호화 시 양자내성암호를 활용할 계획이다.
민간 부문에서는 엔터테인먼트사와 발전소에 양자내성암호 전용회선을 구축한다.
빅히트 엔터테인먼트(현 하이브)의 전용회선 구간에 양자내성암호 기술을 적용해 회사의 지적재산권, 창작물 정보보안을 강화하고 양자암호 기반의 차세대 인증 플랫폼을 개발해 공연 티켓 예매, 인증 등에도 활용할 방침이다.
GS EPS 당진사무소와 서울사무소 구간에도 양자내성암호 회선을 구축해 사이버 공격에 의한 대규모 정전 등을 차단하고, 양자암호 기술이 적용된 안면인식출입시스템도 개발할 예정이다.
